Welcome to Poecile, Selene's small art gallery located at Main and Primoris, across the street from the Palladium. It was established both to expose Haven Empyreans to the fine works of the Empyrean Golden Age as well a place where the works promising new Empyrean artists could be seen. Selene has been studying Empyrean art since she was a young girl and is in the process in writing her own book on the influence of Golden Age artists on those that came after. As a daughter of House Jove, and now Acesius, Selene has been able to gather an impressive collection of artwork, one of the best private collections in the Empyre. But it is not only her collection that is on display here. Through her contacts in Civitas Dei and some of the provinces she has been able to bring in some works from other galleries and museums for a temporary showing.
The gallery consists of two rooms, one to house the works of contemporary artists and a second to hold some of the greatest treasures of the Empyre, under heavy guard, of course. Please visit both the Master's Gallery and the Modern Gallery for a glimpse of what is gurrently behing exhibited.
